How to get to Aloha
We encourage visitors to come by public transport, bicycle or electric transport as much as possible. Public transport is also a good choice for visitors from outside the region. You can travel to Scheveningen without traffic jams by train and tram, which run extra often in the summer.
By tram
- From The Hague Central Station: Take tram 1 towards Scheveningen Noord.
- Get off at the Badhuiskade or Scheveningseslag / Beelden aan Zee stop.
Or, from The Hague HS station:
- Take tram 11 towards Scheveningen Haven.
- Get off at the beach at the Strandweg stop.
By (shared) bike or electric (shared) scooter
You can cycle to the beach via the safe and clearly marked cycle routes. At the Biesieklette parking you can store your bicycle free of charge and guarded and charge your electric bicycle. In addition, there are also free, unguarded parking facilities. There are also parking places for shared scooters.
By car
If you come to Scheveningen, it is useful to know that parking in the region is arranged by the municipality. If you come by car, try to carpool as much as possible. Paid parking applies from 10:00 AM to 12:00 AM. But don’t worry, we have a number of options for getting rid of your car:
- With Park+Beach you can reserve a parking space at participating garages outside Scheveningen, such as CS New Babylon, Malieveld or World Forum A. From there you can continue by tram or a shared bicycle. You can park all day for only €5, including 1 tram card or 1 shared bicycle use. Each additional traveler only pays €1 extra.
- Strandweg parking (zone 1555): Use Parkmobile/Yellowbrick or enter your license plate number and bank card at the payment terminal. Average €6.50 per hour. There are several points where you can charge your electric car.
- Visafslag car park (zone 2282): You can also use Yellowbrick here or enter your license plate number and bank card.
- Noordelijk Havenhoofd car park: €6.50 per hour or a day ticket until 00:00 for €25. Payment by card only, cash is not accepted.
- Valet parking: Do you want to spoil yourself? Then choose our valet parking service, offered by ParkSimply. Book easily online.
